HOB SALONS JOINS HAIRDRESSERS ACROSS THE UK TO SUPPORT GREAT ORMOND STREET HOSPITAL

HOB Salons joins John Frieda and the industry's biggest names to support HAIRraising, a new appeal that invites the hairdressing community to raise £1 million towards new operating theatres at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The funds will be used to help children from all over the UK who require specialist neurosurgery and HOB are delighted to raise money for the cause with a company-wide HAIRraising day on Sunday 25 April, from which all proceeds will be donated to the charity.

Anyone that visits the salon on 25th April will benefit from reduced salon prices with a minimum donation of £10.00 for in-salon treatments; £20.00 for blow-dries; £30.00 for cut & blow-dries and £35.00 for selected colouring services.

HOB's Creative Director, Akin Konizi, one of the campaign's co-founders says, 'I'm thrilled to see the hairdressing community make a real difference to children's lives in this way. HOB is proud to show their support with a fundraising day. We encourage as many people to come down on the day - not only will they leave looking good, they will also feel great knowing the proceeds are going to a fantastic cause".

All 19 branches of HOB Salons will also be encouraging their customers to add a donation to their bill between now and the end of August 2010.
