HOB SALONS FUTURE TALENT SHOW THEIR 'SKILLS'

This month HOB Salon's young talent were called upon to showcases their flair for hair at Skills London 2010.

The three day event welcomed over 45,000 young people between the ages of 14-19 to learn about various career options open to them, allowing attendees to interact with professionals in a host of different fields as they discover what interests them.

Promoting hairdressing as a successful career option, HOB Salons supported Joshua Galvin's Central Training Academy at the event with apprentices from the HOB team taking to the stage in front of the growing audience.

Across the 3 day event, HOB's Oliver Moorehouse and Charlotte Hodson from HOB St Albans and HOB West Hampstead respectively, styled a model each on stage every day as Joshua Galvin interviewed them about working and training at HOB Salons from an apprentice perspective, as well as their views on a career in hairdressing. After describing the style they had created on stage, the apprentices revealed their hairdressing experience so far with the award-winning group as the eager audience applauded their work.

Reflecting on the successful event, Joshua Galvin said 'Their presentation of work was fantastic, especially as they have not long been in training. It was a pleasure to work with such young talent, especially Joshua Galvin / Central Hairdressing Men's Image award winner Ollie.'
