ELLIE GOULDING GETS SET FOR THE 2011 ELLE STYLE AWARDS!

Last night saw the elite of fashion join together for the annual celebration of all that is stylish and beautiful at the ELLE Style Awards 2011. With influential fashion forward individuals showcasing their effortlessly cool and chic styles in Covent Garden - HOB Salons - were thrilled to be styling singing sensation Ellie Goulding for the event.

Teamed with a beautiful dusty pink chiffon fitted dress and killer heels, Ellie's new hue was tailored to her cool style whilst encapsulating one of the key trends for Spring/Summer 2011. Set to sport her pastel shade on the red carpet ahead of The BRIT Awards this evening, Ellie is rumoured to upping the style stakes as she gets set to present the Critics' Choice Award whilst also awaiting the result of her two nominations at the prestigious music event.

Current British Colour Technician of the Year and HOB Salons' Creative Colour Director, Christel Lundqvist says 'Ellie really loved sporting the pale rosewater shade I created for her last year, so working with the hottest trends of the season; we decided to create this bespoke and very beautiful pastel tone.'

Revealing how the look is created, Christel continues, 'This look can be achieved with a creative highlighting service followed by a toner. Mixtures of very light blondes and soft delicate tones were used to create a rose dust effect which is perfectly on trend for Spring/Summer 2011.'

2009 British Hairdresser of the Year Akin Konizi tailored her cut to compliment her colour, saying 'Ellie is known for her trademark dishevelled locks, so to create more movement I added shorter layers and redefined her fringe area to add texture. With addition of her undercut we feel that the softness and femininity is balanced with the edgier, rugged feel of the cut.'
