COVID - 19 Update 17.04.20
We hope you are keeping safe and well. It has been almost four weeks since our closure and during this time we have been spending our days at home with our loved ones. Whilst we are cherishing the time we have with those closest to us, it undeniably leaves a huge void in our hearts not being able to get up and go to work each day. This email is our way of reaching out to say the salons may be closed but we are still here.
Whilst the uncertainty of our closure still remains unknown we are spending our time planning carefully for when we can reopen. Strict measures will be put in place to ensure we create the safest of environments for both our team members and our clients. We will be sharing our health and safety measures with you in due course.
In our last email we were planning on sending you the necessary hair products such as shampoo, conditioner and styling tools, but since then the government update is to stay at home unless absolutely necessary, and therefore we are unable to send you any products at the moment. As soon as this changes please trust that we will be back in touch and asking you how we can help in the best way we can.
During this time we are doing our utmost to look after your hair concerns with advice and tips on maintaining your hair until we reopen. However, we are not able to provide any information or guidance in hair colouring at home. Professional salon colour is a technical process which involves our highly trained colourists using their scientific knowledge to produce a great looking result- and more importantly a safe result for you and your hair. Peroxides, bleach, permanent colours and other colour products are chemicals that should only be used by trained professionals in a salon environment. Any errors caused in the carrying out of instructions could have adverse effects and we are not prepared to put your safety at risk. However, please look out for emails, social media posts and our new colour blog that can be found on our website www.hobsalons.com where we will continue to try and inspire you with beautiful images, trend updates and top tips and tricks to help cover up those beloved roots!
We have received several emails from our valued clients letting us know about their hair concerns, or generally checking in to say how much they miss their salon and their hairdresser. Thank you for reaching out and keeping in touch, we love hearing from you. To create some fun during this dark time, we would love for you to send us a picture of your hair (a side or back image of your hair is fine if you prefer) of how you are best managing your hair at home. We will be selecting the images that we feel need our expertise the most and offering up to 50 clients the chance to win a complimentary cut, colour and goodie back worth of top products when we reopen.
