Salon International 2019
Once again, the HOB Academy Creative Team wowed the crowd at Salon International on the 6th October at ExCel London. First showing on the Fellowship stage at 2.30pm, and then at the HJ Stage at 3.40pm, the day was filled with electric creativity as the HOB team showcased the brand’s hairdressing DNA.
Both stage shows gave audience members the opportunity to see Creative Director Akin Konizi and the team present 6 models showing spectacular fashion-forward cuts and colours. Head of Education Jake Unger explains the looks being of “60’s and 80’s influence, in terms of cut and geometry, against a strong and vibrant colour palette. The line-up was made up of 6 individual looks that are designed to be viewed on their own rather than adhering to an overall theme, but with the emphasis on all 6 pointing towards precision and cut.”
It was part of a busy weekend for the HOB Academy Creative Team as they rushed off to prepare for their “Lucky 7” show at the Alternative Hair Show that same evening, and then for their own “HOB Uncut” show in Camden the very next day….. phew! Hairdressing stamina or what?!
