Jake TrendVision Mentoring Day

On Friday, October 21st Jake Unger from the HOB Creative Team hosted a mentoring day for the UK and Ireland TrendVision Winners to prepare them for the International TrendVision Awards in Barcelona in November. Having won the UK Final himself in 2011, he then went on to win both Gold Young Talent and also the Viewer’s Choice himself in 2011 at the Global Trend Vision Awards in New York. This made Jake the perfect person to share his experience and expertise with the 9 hopefuls. Over the course of the day, Jake demonstrated a live haircut on his model, worked with the finalists on their presentation skills, as this is an area they were all keen to explore, and also shared his own personal journey on how winning TrendVision helped his own career- and lastly, shared some top tips on calming nerves!
