HOB Apprentice Academy
Appointments available: Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 9.30am or 1.30pm.
Services available: salon-friendly haircuts on long or medium hair (for example, basic trims or long layers), blow-dries, all-over colours* and root colours*.
Duration: please allow up 2-3 hours for a cut & blow-dry, and 3-4 hours for a colour. 
Prices: no charge for blow-dries, £10 for cuts, £25 for colours (includes blow-dry).
This would suit you if you are looking for a straightforward, simple cut or colour service

HOB Graduate Academy
Appointments available: Thursdays and Fridays at 9.30am, 11.30am or 1.30pm.
Services available: any style of cut & finish, blow-dries, and any colour service* including highlights, balayage, ombre and bleach.
Duration: please allow up to 2 hours for a cut & blow-dry, and 3-4 hours for a colour. 
This would suit you if you are looking for a similar experience to what you would get in a salon, resulting in a beautifully done, wearable cut or colour, carried out by a newly qualified hairdresser (but taking a little longer than a salon appointment would).
Prices: no charge for blow-dries, £10 for cuts and £25 for colours (includes blow-dry).

HOB Academy Courses & Seminars
Appointments available: scheduled on a specific day according to our course schedule and requirements. 
Services available: restyles, creative haircuts, colour changes and creative or eye-catching fashion colours.
Duration: this will vary according to the nature of the course. 
Prices: no charge for any service.
This would suit you if you’re looking for something a little different, or you are open to having an unusual hairstyle or colour, or you are generally looking for creative inspiration!

* Please note, if you wish to book a colour service in the Academy, we advise you to come in a few days prior to your appointment in order to undergo a patch test and a consultation, to ensure we are able to deliver the colour service you are looking for.

FAQ


Can I choose what kind of haircut or colour I have?

Yes of course - the academy services are very similar to a normal salon appointment, whereby you will have a full consultation at the start to explain to your stylist or colourist the style or colour you would like.
If you are modelling for a seminar, you will be required to undergo quite a big change, or have something ‘creative’ done - if this is not what you’re after, book for the Apprentice or Graduate Academy instead. 

Can I choose who does my hair?

Yes, usually, as long as your chosen student is fully capable of doing the cut or colour you wish. Just state your preference when booking and we will do our best to accommodate. 

Do you have opportunities for paid modeling work?

Yes, if you have the required look and hairstyle to be modelling in our catwalk shows or for our photoshoots. If you are interested in this type of work then please contact Elle on models@hobsalons.com with plenty of photographs of yourself plus your full details.

I'm not sure what I should book for and where! Who can I contact?
