HOB APPRENTICE MODELS

Appointments available:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 10:30 am or 1:30 pm.

Services available:
Salon-friendly haircuts for medium to long hair (e.g., basic trims or long layers), blow dries, highlights, all-over colours* and root colours.

Duration:
Please allow 2–3 hours for a cut & blow dry, and 3–4 hours for a colour service.

Prices:
Blow dries: Free
Cuts: £10
Colours (includes blow dry): £25

This is perfect if you’re looking for a straightforward, simple cut or colour service at an affordable price.

HOB GRADUATE MODELS

Appointments available:
Thursdays and Fridays at 9:30am, 11:30am, or 1:30pm at the Wella Studios London.

Services available:
A full range of services, including any style of cut & finish, blow dries, and all colour services, such as highlights, balayage and bleach.

Duration:
Please allow up to 2 hours for a cut & blow dry, and 3–4 hours for a colour service.

Prices:
Blow-dries: Free
Cuts: £10
Colours (includes blow-dry): £25

This is ideal if you’re looking for a salon-quality experience with a beautifully wearable cut or colour, carried out by a newly qualified hairdresser. While the appointment may take a little longer than in a salon, the results will be worth the wait!

HOB BESPOKE COURSES & SEMINARS

Appointments available:
Scheduled on specific dates according to our education course schedule and requirements.

Services available:
Restyles, creative haircuts, colour transformations and bold, fashion colours.

Duration:
Varies depending on the nature of the course.

Prices:
All services are free of charge.

This is perfect if you’re open to trying something different, experimenting with a bold hairstyle or colour, or seeking a creative look from our award-winning education team.

*A skin test is required at least 48 hours prior to your colour appointment if you are a new colour model or have not had a colour service at HOB within the last 6 months.

FAQ's

Can I choose what kind of haircut or colour I have?
Yes of course - the academy services are very similar to a normal salon appointment, whereby you will have a full consultation at the start to explain to your stylist or colourist the style or colour you would like.

If you are modelling for a seminar, you will be required to undergo quite a big change, or have something ‘creative’ done - if this is not what you’re after, book for the Apprentice or Graduate Academy instead.

Can I choose who does my hair?
Yes, usually, as long as your chosen student is fully capable of doing the cut or colour you wish. Just state your preference when booking and we will do our best to accommodate.

Do you have opportunities for paid modelling work?
Yes, if you have the required look and hairstyle to be modelling in our catwalk shows or for our photoshoots. If you are interested in this type of work then please contact Treena on models@hobsalons.com with plenty of photographs of yourself plus your full details.

I'm not sure what I should book for and where! Who can I contact?
Email: models@hobsalons.com with a current photo of your hair along with the brief description of the look you hope to achieve. We will be happy to assist you with booking on relevant course.
