The HOB Photographic Competition is your opportunity to get creative, express your talent and to be recognised. We're inviting all salon team members; from Apprentices to Salon managers to take part by creating a total look and and submitting photographs of your model.

The four categories are;
CREATIVE CUT (a HOB Colourist can do the colour on this)
CREATIVE COLOUR (a HOB Stylist can do the cut on this)
MEN'S HAIR
HAIR UP

Entries are open NOW and close 31st May 2025.

PHOTO REQUIREMENTS
We’re looking for full looks—hair, clothes, and makeup included. Please submit:
- A front, both sides and a back shot
- Taken on a phone
- With the head positioned roughly one-third of the frame

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Finalists from each category will be invited to take part in the HOB Live Final at Wella London Studios (date TBC, expected end of July). You’ll recreate your look live at the HOB Academy in Wella where your final look will be judged and your model will form part of our Catwalk Show - either with your original model or a new one. All salons will be invited to attend this event.

THE PRIZES
- One winner and one runner-up will be chosen per category.
- Winners will be invited to join HOB JAMM, with opportunities to get involved in shows, shoots, and work alongside the Art Team.
- You may also be selected to represent HOB at TrendVision 2026.

SALON RECOGNITION
We expect a minimum of 2 entries per salon, but you can enter as many categories as you like. The salon with the most finalists will be crowned Talent Salon of the Year.
