A DOUBLE WIN FOR HOB SALONS AS AKIN KONIZI IS ANNOUNCED BRITISH HAIRDRESSER OF THE YEAR FOR A FOURTH TIME AT THE BRITISH HAIRDRESSING AWARDS 2013

Last night was a one to remember for the HOB Salons group as they scooped two of the biggest awards of the night at the hairdressing Oscars – the British Hairdressing Awards 2013!

The highly anticipated annual event saw HOB Salons crowned with the prestigious London Hairdresser of the Year accolade, and if that wasn’t enough, the 26 salon group’s celebrations continued as International Creative Director, Akin Konizi stole the show, taking back his esteemed British Hairdresser of the Year Award for an astonishing fourth time!

Also a monumental evening for Akin, his British win sees him become only the second person to ever accomplish four wins of the esteemed British Hairdresser of the Year trophy in the history of the acclaimed British Hairdressing Awards, cementing his position as one of hairdressings greatest.

Held in the glamorous Grosvenor House Hotel, a JW Marriott Hotel in London’s Park Lane, the British Hairdressing Awards, now in its 29th year, recognizes and celebrates the creativity of the inspirational British hairdressing industry. Presented by Hairdressers Journal International and sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional was compered by media personality David Walliams with entertainment provided by chart topping Stooshe where 1700 guests from the world of hairdressing, fashion and media mingled at the prestigious event.
