The Colour Club
ESSENTIAL SUBSCRIPTION

Terms & Conditions

Payment: Memberships are paid via direct debit only. No other payment methods, including gift cards, are accepted. Payments must be up to date to access your Essential Colour services and perks. If the membership price increases, a minimum of 3 months’ notice will be given.

Subscription Length: Memberships are for a minimum of 6 months and renew automatically. During this period, memberships cannot be paused. After the initial 6 months, you can cancel by contacting your salon directly.

Personal Use:
Memberships are for the named subscriber only and cannot be transferred or shared. You may need to show photo ID if you’re a new client or using a different salon.

Colour Services
: Your membership includes one root tint or semi-permanent glossing service per month. Other services (such as regrowth tint from roots to ends, highlights, balayage, blow dries, treatments, or haircuts) are not included but can be booked separately, with your member discounts applied where relevant. Unused appointments do not roll over to the following month.
 
Additional Perks:
As an Essential Colour Club member, you’ll also enjoy:
  • A complimentary conditioning treatment with a relaxing scalp massage every month (worth £20)
  • 20% off professional haircare brands*
  • 15% off smoothing services
  • 10% off glass hair services
  • A one-time sign up £5 gift card towards future spend, presented by your colourist on your first visit

Booking: We advise booking your appointments in advance to guarantee your preferred colourist, date, and time. Membership spaces are limited per salon to ensure appointment availability. If your usual colourist is away or unwell, we will arrange cover so your appointment can go ahead as planned.

Cancellations & Changes
: We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel your colour club colour appointment, please do so more than 24 hours before your appointment to avoid charges. If you cancel your Colour Club subscription before 6-months and choose to re-join later, you may not be entitled to the same perks or offers and will need to pay back the gift card.
 
Upgrading: Members may request to upgrade their Colour Club plan at any time. Upgrades will take effect from your next payment date, with the new monthly fee applied moving forward. Please speak to your salon team if you would like to explore upgrade options.
 
Colourist Levels: Each membership tier is subject to the colourist level available in your chosen salon. If your usual colourist is away, we will arrange cover. If that cover is with a higher-level colourist, no extra charge will apply. Refunds or credits cannot be offered if your appointment is carried out by a colourist at a lower level than your subscription tier.

Colourist Promotion
: If your preferred Colourist is promoted to a higher subscription level, your subscription price will not change during your 6 month subscription period. To continue with your Colourist, your subscription will be upgraded starting from month 7.

Offers
: Subscriptions can’t be combined with other offers or services.

Salon Rights
: HOB Salons reserve the right to cancel the subscription or change the price with an 8 week notice period.

Payment Failure:
If your direct debit payment fails, your membership and all associated perks will be suspended until payment has been received. Missed or failed payments may result in cancellation of your Colour Club membership.

*Exclusions: Some salons (Cockfosters and HOB Man) are not included in The Colour Club membership. Retail discounts exclude Olaplex and Colour Wow.
